2/10.12.24 Ethical Review System in Sudan – Shaza Kamal Abbass
1. Recognize the role of the National and Institutional Research Ethics Committees
2. Describe the constitution and functions of RECs
3. Describe the ethical review system in Sudan

3/11.12.24 Risks and Benefits – Shaza Kamal Abbass
1. Evaluate the potential risks and benefits to the research participant in a research protocol
2. Discuss how to minimize identified risks and enhance identified benefit

1. Research Priorities and Resource Allocation – issues related to deciding on research priorities when resources are limited and urgent humanitarian needs exist
